With OS X Lion comes the great Launchpad which allows you to launch applications with just one click. And hence changing it’s background should also be straight forward. It does not actually changes the background, but instead changes “effects” of the current background image or desktop’s wallpaper.To change these effects follow the steps –
Please note for the updated version of Lion OS X, you have to use the key combination as Command + Option + Control + B, all four keys combination in the below mentioned step 2.
1) Open Launchpad
2) Press Command + B to see the change. Keep pressing the key combination to explore the various effects with the background image.
Following are the some effects which I could generate with the factory wallpaper.
