Today at office was wondering how to change the windows login password. Actually there was some virus which corrupted all my exe files. So was unable to open up the user control panel and do the stuff thru GUI. So this is how i changed the password for my computer.
net user realin 12345
Type the above line in your command prompt, the black window , and it should change the password for the user realin to 12345. Please note if you are using windows vista, then you have to open the command prompt with administrator privilege. For doing so, right click on the command prompt icon and click “Run As Administrator”.
