4) Start XAMP server and create new database.
Brilliant, eh ? Now that have everything right on the place, let us start the XAMP server. From your start menu you can start the XAMP control center and there you can hit Start for Apache and Mysql. Now that you have started Server and Database instance, lets create a schema or database for wordpress tables. For this you can download Mysql’s Gui Tools or you can create it from command line. Well please download and create using GUI, otherwise if you are not good at tech stuff, you might end messing up everything. Start the GUI tools, the default credentials for mysql is Username root and password blank, Just look at the picture below and you can see after hitting ok, it will create a schema called wordpress.
